Goodbye to the Online Powazek

Powazek.com and Ephemera.org just closed since Derek Powazek is so busy he hasn't have enough time to update. I always check Powazek.com for techie updates and his endeavors about photography and everything and Ephemera.org for the coooooool (that's seven o's!) photos. Once a month, I would ponder over the photos I missed and marathon read the blog posts. The addiction started way back 4th yr HS, when my mind was still new to HTML. Both were closed since last month but I thought they would open some time later but no!

They were the people I was affiliated to (even though they're not to me): Nikolai Nolan, Derek Powazek and one more guy who's blog closed way way back too. They were the ones who taught me HTML indirectly through their site (not for Nolan, I once emailed him for a code and he replied back. Hehe). And with the closing of Powazek's site, I feel like the feeling Kate went to Canada but on a less sad mood.

So sad. Really sad. So is my flunking ChE 31. Six years in Chem Engg? Nooooo.

EDIT: May kapalit na siya. Check out Simon Pais. Something's wrong with him but still, I like. He's more on people, surreal stuffs and heavy editing.

Dude, I'm not dead, I'm just taking a little break. But there's still plenty of me to be found online. And don't worry, I won't be able to keep my hands off powazek.com for long.

WOAH! A comment from Derek Powazek himself! Woohoo! Haha, I'm feeling colossal right now.
